missed call on cell phone

There was a delay of several seconds after I answered, but a woman came on and gave me an extended car warranty pitch. I asked her what company she was calling for, and explained that my number is on the federal Do Not Call list. I think she said "National Protection Agency" but there was a lot of background noise on her end. I also asked her to remove me from their call list, she was polite and said she removed the number. I always file a report with the federal DNC as well as the FTC for these types of calls.

they are calling me to and i have been reporting them to the police

I received a call from this number 8 times today. Left a message on my cell phone to have my attorney call him back bacause I had a lawsuit against me for failure to repay a payday loan. They do not give you much information. Asked him to send me whatever documentation he had regarding the lawsuit but then puts me on hold for his "legal manager" .... I just hung up on him because I know this is a SCAM.

I receive several calls a day on my cell phone number and the voice mail is a recording that tells me to call this number to activate my Wachovia debit card. It is the same number that appears in my caller I.D. as well.

Caroline Kirk has called me from the number listed above. She states this is her home telephone number. If Caroline Kirk would stop calling me as she has been asked to then such postings would not submitted. Caroline Kirk has been calling for 3 and one-half years, enough is enough. There has to be stronger laws put into place for people who will not stop this kind of behavior. Call your local congressman to help all victims of telephone harassment. caller claimed to be John Cross, from Cross Construction returning my bosses call- which was not true, I asked for his number to have the boss call him back and he gave me a number that was not accurate, then insisted on my bosses cell number, when I refused he cursed at me and hung up
